President-elect Mohamed Morsy arrives Tahrir Square to deliver speech. Thousands of protesters are rallying in Tahrir Square to demand the military’s exit from political life.
6 April group has announced their withdrawal from the Tahrir sit in today after it was reported that Morsy will swear oath in front of the Supreme Constitutional Court, which is considered an acknowledgment of the supplementary constitutional declaration.
Activists expressed their anger from Presidential Guards presence in Tahrir to secure Morsy while delivering his speech. Some referred to it as ''selling martyrs' of Mohamed Mahmoud blood''. Others considered the reactions an exaggeration as every president should be secured one way or another.
